CD Review: Circle – Six Day Run

Can you imagine running around the same one mile loop of concrete for six days straight? Apparently people gather in New York to do this every year, and so Mika Taanila recorded this event for his short film, Six Day Run.

Finnish experimental rockers Circle have provided the soundtrack to the short film; 30 mins of simple, yet dense instrumental loops. It’s exhausting listening, the unrelenting drum loops mimic the endless marathon these guys have to endure. An interesting listen, if lacking replay value.
