Hirax have been flying the Thrash flag for 30-odd years now. Despite this, their new album Immortal Legacy is brimming with energy. It’s fast, aggressive, with distinct tinges of NWOBHM inspired melody.

As a thrash album, Immortal Legacy will be one of the best you’ll hear all year. The songwriting is strong and musically the band are on top form. As an artform however, it’s one of the least original pieces of music you could invest your time in.
