Chuck Schuldiner needs little introduction. His work in Death created and still stands as the benchmark for Death metal. However this 3-disc reissue of Leprosy adds little to the legacy.

The remastered original album benefits from a slightly better sound, but the rehearsal tapes are muddy and for hardcore fanatics only. The live disc is slightly better, showing a band in their early days full of energy, but is far from essential hearing. If you haven’t already got a copy of Leprosy, get it. If you already own it, this reissue offers little for you.
