You know what you’re going to get with Tankard: Alcoholic German thrash. No more, no less. Playing decent music and always good for a laugh, their 16th album RIB (Rest In Beer) keeps things ticking over nicely.

There’s little on offer to match the likes of ‘(Empty) Tankard’ or ‘Chemical Invasion’, but it’s a solid effort and if songs such as ‘Breakfast Of Champions’ or the self-aware irony of ‘No One Hit Wonder’ don’t make you smile then nothing will. You should probably give this a listen out of pure respect to alcohol.
